ENACTUS WORLD CUP 2018
October 9-11, 2018 in Silicon Valley hosted the World Cup of Student Entrepreneurship, Startups and Innovations ENACTUS WORLD CUP 2018

This year, the World Cup was held in Silicon Valley in the city of San Jose with the participation of Enactus CEO Rachel Yarosh, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and many others. The Enactus World Cup brings together more than 6,000 participants and 30,000 online observers from business and education. from all over the world. The champions of the National Cup of Student Entrepreneurship, Startups and Innovations - the team of M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University defended the honor of our country. The team presented projects related to the problems of social adaptation of people with disabilities and ex-prisoners, as well as the creation of briquetted fuel as an alternative to coal.
The annual world cup is a unique event that usually takes place in major world cities: Paris, New York, Singapore, London, Barcelona, Berlin, Kuala Lumpur, Johannesburg and others. National champions come from the team of 36 countries of the world. The delegation of Kazakhstan was represented not only by students, but also by the head of Enactus Kazakhstan - Yerzhanova Albina Meirbekovna and successful businessmen. The delegation of business partners was led by Batalov Raimbek Anvarovich, who actively supports Enactus in Kazakhstan. The Center for Innovation Cooperation was also available for competitors, providing a platform where program partners displayed their products, as well as a Cultural Fair, where delegations from 36 different countries represented the life and traditions of their people.


In addition to competitions, the World Water Race, aimed at solving problems associated with water shortages, and the World Project Fair, an exhibition of projects, were held as part of the Enactus World Cup 2018.
